We are looking for an enthusiastic and analytical National Account Executive to join our Commercial team.
About the role
Natoora has spent two decades reshaping how chefs and home cooks think about fresh produce — championing seasonality, varietal diversity, and building direct relationships with a vast network of growers. Our retail channel is where that mission crosses over to consumers from our core restaurant market. It already represents around 30% of our total sales, and it is the single biggest growth opportunity for the business.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and analytical National Account Executive to join our Commercial team. You will work alongside our National Account Managers on our largest retail relationships — Ocado, Waitrose, Whole Foods and Zapp — and keep the day-to-day running of those accounts accurate, on time and moving forward.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of the retail team: you will own the product admin, reporting and account support that our partners rely on, get to grips with sales and competitor data to spot opportunities and threats, and grow your responsibilities and skills as the channel grows.
Accounts: Ocado, Waitrose, Whole Foods, Zapp and GAIL's
Responsibilities
Own product set-up and range changes. Set up new lines across our internal systems (WS, EDI), retailer systems (Ocado proformas, Waitrose MDM, Zapp and Whole Foods set-up forms) and product labels. Check every product ahead of launch so that EDI, WS, Olive and the price list all align. Communicate weekly range changes — lines in and out — to internal teams, and keep track of what needs updating whenever something changes.
Manage our products online. Keep product content, categories, tags, names and images accurate and compelling on Ocado, Waitrose (via Brandbank) and Zapp. Handle day-to-day line updates on Ocado, including temporary delistings, masking, relisting and delisting, and run monthly promo web checks and Waitrose ticketing updates.
Deliver the reporting that drives decisions. Run the weekly and daily data downloads that keep the team informed: Ocado sales trends and market share from Beet, the Olive forecast sheet, competitor promotion data, missed sales, purge data and demand management reports. Analyse a wide range of data sets — promotional and marketing performance, market share, loyalty rates and high-level sales — on your own initiative and under the direction of the National Account Manager. Write weekly sales commentary and review our promotional activity against competitors.
Keep the accounts running smoothly. Perform daily order and line checks to protect sales performance. Make sure non-conformities and delivery issues are handled effectively and efficiently, and help shape responses to customer complaints. Process credit and debit notes, run invoice checks (including manual invoicing on Coupa for Waitrose) and resolve EDI invoice queries with our customer service team. Arrange sample deliveries and collections as needed.
Be the link between retail and the rest of Natoora. Join the daily fulfilment meeting and follow through on its actions. Review operational KPIs with our production team and fulfilment KPIs with our buying team, and work closely with sourcing, pricing, supply chain and brand to make sure our retail partners get the best of what we do.
Support account growth and projects. Provide support with the management of our key accounts, including Zapp day-to-day account management, regular review meetings and product quality benchmarking. Track new lines launched on Ocado against competitors to identify opportunities, and support wider projects such as improving our packaging.
What we're looking for
An analytical mindset, with strong Excel and Google Sheets skills and the confidence to turn sales and competitor data into clear observations. Experience with Tableau or a similar analytical tool is preferred; experience in UK grocery, FMCG or fresh produce is a benefit.
Keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Much of this role is about getting the details right across several accounts and systems at once, every day.
A creative problem solver with commercial acumen, strong learning agility and the ability to stay calm and organised in an agile, fast-moving environment.
A genuine passion for food, fresh produce and our ethos.
Applicants must be legally entitled to work full time in the UK.
What success looks like
First 3 months: you have completed your induction across our sites, buying, pricing, brand and Tableau; you confidently own the daily and weekly product admin, reporting and order checks across Ocado, Waitrose, Whole Foods and Zapp; and new lines launch accurately and on time.
3 to 12 months: you are the go-to person for retail data and account operations, proactively spotting opportunities and issues in the numbers; you are taking on day-to-day account management for smaller accounts such as Zapp; and you are contributing directly to the Joint Business Plans and growth of our key accounts.
Our vision for a better food system is built on real human relationships and a diversity of experience, perspective and ideas. We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from individuals, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion and/or belief.

OUR PEOPLE
Voir toutWe exist to fix the food system.
People are more cut off from the origins of their food than ever. This makes flavour, nutrition and farming practices that protect the planet, almost impossible to find.
By working directly with growers, we create a more sustainable way forward for farming. By giving everyone the tools to understand the power of our food choices, we empower everybody to become drivers of change.
Now is the time for action. Join the food system revolution.
Go beyond four seasons
Each fruit and vegetable has its own season, with subtle shifts which happen every day. Follow their microseasons to unlock flavour at every stage.
WHAT’S IN SEASON?
Know where your food comes from
We know the name of the people behind everything we source. Recognise their growing artistry to find out exactly where your food comes from (and why that matters).
MEET THE GROWERS
Make your diet diverse
Our growers work with varieties chosen for quality and nutrition, not yield. By selecting their crops you keep heritage seeds in play, add to ecosystem biodiversity and preserve unique flavours.
